Bra Size?
The worst thing you can do is buy a bra, take it home, and learn that it does not fit properly. Just because you have been wearing a bra since you were a teenager, does to mean you know how to measure to find your bra size.
Of course, even after you have your true measurements, it is best to try on the bra before purchasing as not all manufactures make their bras exactly the same and even the style can change the way a bra will fit.
First start with the band size. This is the band that goes around your body underneath your breast and at the top of your ribs. Using a tape measure, go around this portion of your body. If the measurement is 33.6, go up to 34. Your band size would be 34. Some people may tell you to add an inch or two, but if you do this, your bra will not fit properly.
Now, you have to learn what cup size you need. The best way to measure for cup size is to get down on all fours ensuring your back is parallel with the floor. Now, measure around your breasts and back. Okay, the tricky part. Take away this measurement from the one you found with your band size. A cup begins at 1 inch, B cup 2 inches, and so on and so forth. Therefore, if your band size is 34 and your new measurement is 32, you subtract and come up with 2, so your cup size would be B.
